Why Is it so Expensive!?... Why are you so Annoying?!


We had this passenger who's travelling to London with a stopover in Frankfurt and then continuing to Boston and then back to Amman. (after 6 months)


So she was getting two tickets, one to London and the other one to Boston using her *mileage* and a hotel in Frankfurt on the way back. When I told her that this ALL will cost her 425 JOD = 600 USD, she got extremely mad and was complaining that this is way too expensive!!!!



Nothing annoys me more than the kind of people who fly around the world and get a really high status in our Mileage program (which proves that they can afford all the travelling they do), and then they make a big fuss out of every penny they pay and cause us a nightmare each time they decide to fly... !!!

    Poor dear, it is a pain! One thing that helped me understand, when I was the complaining customer (although not about the cost, whew!)was that one must pay airport taxes at every one, and even with a free ticket that tax must be paid.

    Kinzi, I agree but those are Airport Taxes and Fuel charges.. it's nothing we can do anything about! Plus she was talking about two tickets and a hotel!!!!

    Qwaider... keep in mind that this is for 2 tickets... AMM_LON_AMM and FRA_BOS_FRA PLUS a HOTEL and a stopover in FRA! She was complaining about getting all this for 425 JOD ONLY!!!!

    Dima, I meant YOU are the poor dear, and she doesn't understand she is paying for non-negotiables. Miles pay for miles, not taxes! I guess she thought every airline should pay for a hotel around a schedule she chooses? Yabayay. Allah yatiiki il afiyyah!

    Here's an idea..tell her you can get her a cheaper price..50% off..and do this..instead of the usual seat..give her a rope..and tell her the crew will make sure she gets a nice view..tied to the wing.

    meals are not included.

    Tell her because it costs around JD500 to get her a meal out there..see since she's gonna be out doors..its not easy to keep the hot meals hot..so you need a special Space Heat container you need to buy from NASA, hence the extra cost..her choice!
