Quotations

I never believed that those small books of quotations are of any use, till yesterday...

* To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.
* I dropped a tear in the ocean, when they find it i'll stop loving you.
* Dance as if no one is watching you, sing as if no one is listening, love like you have never been hurt.

* To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with.
* Where there is love in the home there is joy in the heart.
* It's so much easier to travel through life with someone you love at your side.
* Happiness is a healthy mental attitude, a grateful spirit, a clear conscience, and a heart full of love.
* Love is a little word; people make it big.
* You can give without loving but you can't love without giving.

* The most lonely place in the world is the human heart when love is absent.
* Love is the wisdom of the fool and the folly of the wise.
* When you hear the bells ringing, feel butterflies fluttering, and act as though you have been in your bonnet- that's real love!
* True love doesn't consist of holding hands- it consists of holding hearts.
* Kindness is the ability to love people more than they really deserve.

* Love doesn't really make the world go around. It just makes people so dizzy it looks like it.
* Of all human passions love is the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart, and the senses.
* Love conquers all- even snoring.
* love looks through a telescope; envy, through a microscope.
* Friendship often ends in love; but love in friendship- Never.
* Love is sharing a part of yourself with others.
* True love doesn't have a happy ending; true love doesn't have an ending.

Lonely... I have nobody... call my owwnn

My story with this song goes back to a year ago when I was in Germany.
I was in a duty trip staying at the Wings Hotel which is owned by the LH and I have no idea why, but when im in a hotel, i just keep the TV on... although at home If there's the slightest sound (even if that was from the tiniest soundless watch), this would keep me awake.

I had the MTV on, and when I woke up, there it was... 'Lonely' by Akon,,,
It's so strange but this song SCARES me... at that time it just hit me, im lonely.... lonelyyyyyyyyy! I have no one! Suddenly I felt far away from everyone and everything, and what's even worse is the feeling of being lost... not knowing where I am or why am I there, in that weird small room that looked just too big, dark and empty.

Whenever I hear it again, that moment of loneliness comes back... and the fear comes back with it. The music is scary, the words are said in that unique odd voice... all in all, it's simply the ugliest song I've ever heared.

Lonely, I'm Mr. lonely, I have nobody, call my owwnnn Lonely I'm Mr. Lonely I have nobody, call my owwnn Lonely, I'm Mr. lonely, I have nobody, call my ownnn I'm so lonely....
Everytime It's on the radio, It brings back that aweful moment and annoying memory... of weakness, loneliness, sadness, and lostness...

Too much Choco

Last night I was reading in bed at 9.30 pm when I fell asleep, the last thing i ate was Nutella with Croquant Ice Cream. I woke up again at 4 am and was surprised to see the Choco Close up next to the sink. I must admit it was so tempting, and although i was half asleep, I couldn't resisit not trying it.

So after a Nutella night, I don't think that was a good decision... I just can't really understand how a Choco Toothpaste can give you the feeling of clean teeth. It felt so weird, and with a choco breath... that was just TOO WEIRD!

To clean up the Nutella with Choco close up... hmmm that was just not smart!

But anyway in the morning, I ended up having snickers for breakfast... Guess that is just too much choco for one day!!! hmmm...

Silence

In the past few days I didn't have time for blogging,,, all I can say is that this summer was different in so many ways... it's hectic and busy, yet I'll always remember the summer of 2006 as one of the best.

A week ago, while I was busy at work, I was shocked to see this huge bouquet of flowers. I've always wondered how it feels to get such a thing when not expected. And im telling you, it just feels GREAT! Amazing! Which again makes me insist on 'Who said it's hard to satisfy a girl? '

When you glow, or feel like flying... when you think that you can touch the sky,,, when you spend your time day dreaming, and your nights awake... when you wake up smiling,,, when you feel stronger than ever, and brighter than ever... then the summer of 2006 should definitely be a summer to remember...

a real NIGHTMARE

If you're thinking of going to Aqaba then the InterContinental AQABA Hotel should never be one of your options. I've been to many five stars hotels (both in Jordan and abroad), and i've also been to 4 stars hotels, but I was shocked to discover that one of the 'well known five stars' hotel has such a lousy service. I've had the worst experience there and I am extremely dissapointed.
The nightmare started with us getting there and finding out that even with a reservation being made a week earlier, the rooms were not ready and they could only provide late check-in (at 3 pm, although we were there at 11). We had to open our bags in the STORE ROOM in order to get our swim suits and the things we needed. The rooms were ready at 4 pm only!!

Cars were not allowed to go anywhere near the hotel, so you have to park it out in the crowded street and walk all the way inside in this burning weather.

The tanning beds were another nightmare. You can never find empty ones, if you happen to be extremely lucky then you'll get to find one but without a mattress.
The towels were another issue, if you ask for a towel at anytime(and keep in mind that this is a 5 stars hotel), then the only response you will get is that towels are not available (in laundry)!
When you finally see some people carrying towels, you get out of the pool and check with them and they'd say 'Oh, sorry they're all taken now'!
It would take you 2 to 3 attempts minimum of continuous nagging in order to get one. The service is horrible, it's worse than you can ever imagine.
This is all without mentioning how dirty everything seemed to be. Talking about the sunbeds and the towels (laundry towels). They were all covered with yuckie stains.

Another surprise that was waiting for us, is when we tried to do reservations for the rooms over phone we were informed that corporate prices do not apply over the weekend, only to discover later on that more than half of the rooms were booked on corporate rates. They lied and lied and lied. When they don't know what to say or how to explain all the mess that's going on they just lie about the whole issue.

And what made things worse is that after paying for a full normal rate, we were shocked to discover after having breakfast that breakfast is not included. (and we were not informed about it earlier)! A full rate room in a supposedly '5 stars hotel' should by default mean bed and breakfast, but for Intercon Aqaba everything has a different meaning, everything has a different definition, and it all depends on nothing but their random stupid judgements. And more lies were to follow of course concerning the bed and breakfast issue.

Checking out late was also a problem, although we checked in at 4 pm we were not allowed to ask for a late check out. I just get more and more frustrated whenever I remember this weekend 'vacation'.
Many thanks to Intercon Aqaba for ruining my 'once a year vacation'.

I must admit that the beach had soft sands and was clean of all the annoying big slippery rocks, but with all the guys swimming from Aqua Marina checking out girls, whistling, and giving everyone around disturbing nasty comments, the nice beach didn't really matter. If you're wondering what the security man was doing watching all of this nonsense? He was doing nothing.

I was expecting a relaxing sweet vacation, yet all I got was fighting and complaining about the bad service that destroyed any attempts of having a good time.

Now I will make sure there's no more Intercon for me. I've been to 4 stars hotels that were a thousand times better than this. And im sorry to say it doesn't really deserve to be part of this branding or to have this fake reputation. I will make sure that from now on non of our customers will get my Intercon recommendation.
